BAFTA award winner profiled in latest episode of The Final Hours of TOMB RAIDER
SQUARE ENIX and Crystal Dynamics today announced that Jason Graves, an award winning composer with an outstanding pedigree across film, television and gaming is penning the original score for TOMB RAIDER.

Graves' involvement is revealed in the third episode of The Final Hours of Tomb Raider. In The Sound of Survival, host Zachary Levi escorts viewers to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) London headquarters, and speaks to Graves about his role in the reboot of the iconic Tomb Raider franchise (BAFTA has previously recognized Graves' work for Original Score and Use of Audio in Dead Space).

The composer reveals his vision for the game's soundscape and speaks about infusing atmosphere, emotion and authenticity into Lara's origins story through his musical score - and illustrates his search to find the perfect sound for the game, through his collaboration with sculptor, Matt McConnell who created a bespoke and wholly original instrument to aid Graves in bringing his unique sound to Tomb Raider.

In keeping with the tradition of Geoff Keighley's signature THE FINAL HOURS series, viewers can gain a deeper, behind-the-scenes look at what Graves has to say by checking out this episode:

Original Soundtrack Now Available on iTunes via Paleblue Soundtracks

Los Angeles, November 26, 2012 - Award-winning composer Kevin Riepl (Aliens: Colonial Marines, ABCs of Death, The Aggression Scale) has created a dramatic and suitably festive original music score for Anchor Bay Film's upcoming SILENT NIGHT, directed by Steven C. Miller (Automaton Transfusion, The Aggression Scale). Featuring dark ambient chills, orchestral thrills and holiday sleigh bells, Riepl's seasonal horror score for SILENT NIGHT is released today, November 26, by Paleblue Soundtracks on iTunes. On November 30, Anchor Bay Films presents SILENT NIGHT on screen in ten major U.S. metropolitan areas. The Blu-ray™/DVD combo and DVD will be available to unwrap nationwide on December 4.

SILENT NIGHT is a loose remake of the horror classic Silent Night, Deadly Night. The film's stellar cast includes Malcolm McDowell (Rob Zombie's Halloween, A Clockwork Orange), Jaime King (Sin City, My Bloody Valentine 3D), Donal Logue (Shark Night 3D, Blade), Lisa Marie (Sleepy Hollow), Brendan Fehr (Final Destination, X-Men First Class), and Ellen Wong (Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World).

But with the streets full of Santas for the annual Christmas parade, the killer is hiding in plain sight. He's made his list, checked it twice, and the naughty are going to pay with their lives.

Kevin Riepl is an award-winning composer writing for multiple entertainment genres. His engaging and atmospheric scores have enhanced numerous indie films such as ABCs of Death, Clemency and The Aggression Scale.

Commenting on Riepl's music for SILENT NIGHT, director Steven C. Miller said, "Kevin's score is visceral, emotional, and straight up brutal. Working with him has clearly elevated the film."
